What better way to tire yourself out than strenuous activity, salt water, sea air and lots of competition, fun and laughter? Along the way we also encourage some English speaking and listening too, but with this Interactive Travel activity day, fun, exercise and brand new experiences are the main ingredient. Yes, it’s canoe racing! But first our students need some essential instructions and of course these are delivered by native English speakers, with our student leaders always on hand to explain if someone doesn’t quite grasp the English version.

All safety equipment is provided, along with some canoes.

The students are given tasks to complete and are encouraged to compete in various challenges and races. We also make sure that they get in the water too!

The activity takes place in Brixham which is a pretty fishing village on the tip of Torbay. After tiring themselves out on the water, we find that our students are usually keen to try out the traditional English meal of fish and chips, which of course is nice and fresh, having been caught recently by the local fishermen.
